Today's card was made for the 50th wedding anniversary of my husband's aunt and uncle. I hope they had a wonderful day and that there are many more happy years to come.

I got the idea from a similar card on stampin connection and have used the "i heart heart" stamp set, baroque border wheel and lots of cherry cobbler and gold embossing powder.  I am a bit short on sentiments and numbers so had to rumage through a lot of very old and unused peel offs to find the figures to use here for the 50.

Somehow I have managed to "misplace" the scallop border punch that I was using - now I wouldn't say that I am untidy but...... anyway I have cleared my table and it isn't there - now I need to start on the shelves !
I also need a bit of a frantic craft room clear up as a friend is coming to craft on Thursday and it really is beyond the pale at the moment.

We had originally planned to go to the craft show at the NEC but have decided to save our pennies and have a relaxing morning making things.

EMBOSSED BABY BEAR This is clearly my favourite stamp set at the moment and I have been trying out lots of different colour combinations and techniques. Here are the finished cards and underneath I have done a step by step photo guide - which is a first for me. The bear is stamped in smoky slate and dapper denim, sponged in marina mist.  Bear is stamped in soft suede and early espresso and sponged with peekaboo peach. Here are my supplies all laid out First I stamped image no 2 of the stamp set on whisper white in pink pirouette. Remember to use your piercing mat or other foam pad underneath any photopolymer stamp sets so you get a good image. Then I stamped image no 3 of the set with melon mambo. It does take a bit of practice to line the stamps up so practice a few times first on scrap paper. I find it best to make sure the bear's bottom and the gap between arms and body are lined up. Angry Brids card in a box

I'm rather addicted to making these card in a box cards and decided to combine this with one of my other favourites - punch art. I've thrown a new matching stamp and framelit set called Just Sayin and word bubbles into the mix .These are some of the latest fab products from the Spring and Summer Catalogue. Flower Pot Cards

This week we are making flower pot cards using the soon to retire daisy delight stamp set and matching punch To make the card you need  A4 cardstock a 4in x 6 in piece of co ordinating designer series paper Cut your cardstock to 11inch x 3 inch and score at 4 1/2 inches and 9 inches on the long side. Make a pretty border on the 2 inch section using either a punch or edging die. Mark 1/2 in in from the bottom of the cardstock on both sides and cut to the top of the card to make the flower pot shape Glue patterned paper to the front of your card and then trim. Stamp a greeting if required on the edge.  Then use tear and tape or glue to secure the plant pot edge down. Use tear and tape to join the card at the top Make the insert - a 5.5 inch x 3inch piece with a neutral layer measuring 5 1.4 inch x 2 3.4 inch on top, This will be decorated at the top
