CHRISTMAS CARD IN A BOX I've been pretty busy recently both making things myself and running classes at home and a couple of other places. So Here are a couple of quick photo's of cards in a box that I made for a Christmas Fair. There are a super way of creating a lasting impression as the recipients often leave them on display.

Butterfly Card in a Box I was demonstrating how to make a card in a box at a festival last weekend and they were very popular. I sold lots of ready made ones and received several orders. So these are 2 identical cards made for a couple that I have just delivered tonight.  I plan to do a photo tutorial later in the week as I am making lots more using the new fox punch and stamp set so pop back early next week to have a look. I've used elegant eggplant, wisteria wonder and silver glimmer paper, the number of years stamp and die bundle plus butterfly punches and dies.

2016- 2017 NEW CATALOGUE Baby Bear   Here are 2 VERY simple cards using a new stamp set from the 2016-2017 catalogue. I was very lucky and won this in " Prize Patrol". It's a 3 step stamp so I stamped the 3 different bear images in increasingly dark colours. I'm hoping to have more of a play tomorrow and make some more complex cards. I'm not a great one for puns on cards and can just about live with this one - I'm still undecided on the greeting that's meant for weddings. Pop back in a couple of days to see what it says.     This is stamped in Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe and Early Espresso for the bear and Watermelon Wonder for the bow and greeting.  It's taken a few attempts to get the hand of lining the 3 images up but I think I'm nearly there and am looking forward to doing some stamping in daylight tomorrow.     This one is done in Soft Sky, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay for the bear with Island Indigo for the bow a...

Spring/Summer Catalogue Sneak Peak

Image
I've made the wreath using a kit that will be in the new catalogue and designed a matching card and tag to form a class for Mother's Day. The cost will be £20 and it will run on 19th March - or other dates if there is enough interest. There are several new products in the set - the My Mother stamp set which has a really nice big greeting, the matching petite petals stamp set and punch. I really like how dainty these flowers are and think I will be using them as finishing touches on lots of projects. Happy Crafting everyone

STAMPIN UP CHRISTMAS MILK CARTONS

Image
So I'm really sorry I have been a very naughty blogger. But the good news is that I have been busy making things. SO here are a couple of pictures made using the Stampin' Up Mini Milk carton die and owl punch. The pictures don't really do this justice but there is lots of glitter on the roof and snow as I have applied dazzling diamonds using a 2 way glue pen. All of these products and more can be bought in my Stampin' Up! Store . In fact as a Christmas treat I will send all the materials needed to make these 2 boxes to anyone placing an order through me.   Happy Crafting Here is the link to my store http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/dawnhoward/

STAMPIN UP CLEARANCE RACK IS HERE - my picks

Image
I'm really excited to tell you that today Stampin Up launched their clearance rack. This is where they sell discontinued goodies at a substantially reduced price. There are lots of bargains to be had at the moment - paper, fabric and ribbon and the list will be updated regularly. My pick at the moment is the pinwheel die - it's so easy to use and here are a few pictures of cards I've made previously with it.   Click HERE to add this to shopping basket http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/dawnhoward/   happy crafting everyone

Stampin Up Punch Art cards

Image
PUNCH ART Here are a few of the samples that we will be making on Wednesday at the NSAAA (North Staffordshire Asperger's and Autism Society) craft evening.  I have taken my inspiration from all the wonderful designs on the internet. I really like the background to the angry bird card which is made using a sponge covered in blue ink and a little shimmer paint and sponged around a "cloud" which I have punched from the cupcake builder punch. The picture doesn't do it justice but the sky shimmers beautifully in real life.  Don't forget if any one wants to order Stampin Up products then I am rebating my commission to the NSAAA for any orders received between now and Thursday morning.  Hope you're all enjoying the wonderful weather on this bank holiday. I've already cleaned the car and later we're off out on the tandem for the first ride of the year. I bet at least 3 people will yell out " Oi mate - she's got her feet up at ...
