Handbag Gift Bag with Notelets.

In this week's pnline class we are making these very pretty little handbags which contain 5 notecards. A great gift to give to a friend or family member who may need to send out some thank you cards or RAK ( random act of kindness) during the current lockdown.

I've used the Best Dressed papers here along with daisy lane and daisy delight stamp sets with the large daisy punch.

To make the handbag you need
- a sheet of A4 cut to 11cm x 29.5cm
and 2 pieces for handles cut to 1.2 cm x 8cm
- co-ordinating cardstock 2 pieces cut to 6cm x 13 cm
- co-ordinating designer series paper - 2 pieces cut to 5cm x 13cm
4 mini brads and small punch for decoration around the brads,

Score the 11cm x 29,5 cm piece of cardstock
at 1 cm on the short side
at 13cm, 14cm, 27cm, and 28cm on the long side.
Using a pencil mark the points for your brads and make the hole using a poky took or 1/16th hole punch. .

Fold and make crisp scores using your bone folder.
Cut the 1 cm sections as shown on template and assemble bag.

Then add the cardstock and DSP to the 2 sides of the bag.

Make your handle - score the pieces of card in half between 2cm and 8 cm and glue to edges together so it looks like this.

Add decorate circles/punches to the ends of the brads. Make a hole with your poky took and attach using mini brads.

Once your bag is completed stamp/decorate your cards and envelopes. Stampin Up Envelopes are excellent quality and take ink very well so this means you can add finishing touches.

Happy Crafting
