BABY BEAR - Wedding Card

This was a card I made way back in April when I first got this set - and being my usual disorganised self it had been lost under a great pile of other " in progress" cards.  I used sweet sugarplum and some non SU ribbon.

It shows the versatility of the stamp set - great for birthdays, wedding and baby cards.  I'll also be getting it out soon to make some traditional Christmas cards and simply adding a Santa hat to the bear.

EMBOSSED BABY BEAR This is clearly my favourite stamp set at the moment and I have been trying out lots of different colour combinations and techniques. Here are the finished cards and underneath I have done a step by step photo guide - which is a first for me. The bear is stamped in smoky slate and dapper denim, sponged in marina mist.  Bear is stamped in soft suede and early espresso and sponged with peekaboo peach. Here are my supplies all laid out First I stamped image no 2 of the stamp set on whisper white in pink pirouette. Remember to use your piercing mat or other foam pad underneath any photopolymer stamp sets so you get a good image. Then I stamped image no 3 of the set with melon mambo. Online Class - Making Vellum Cards

Thursday 16th July Today I'll be demonstrating how to make these pretty cards using vellum as a base. 1) Cut your A4 vellum to 10cm wide \nd then score along the long side at 14.9cm , 2) Cut 4 pieces of DSP to 10 cm wide x 7.5 cm long.  Take 2 pieces of paper, put the sides you do not want showing together and trim on the diagonal. TIP - make sure your paper is facing the correct way.   3) Stick the paper to the bottom of the front and back of the card and then add the insides making sure everything aligns nicely. 4) Decorate as required - I have used The Forever Greenery Bundle for the papers and die cuts.

Stampin Up Punch Art cards

PUNCH ART Here are a few of the samples that we will be making on Wednesday at the NSAAA (North Staffordshire Asperger's and Autism Society) craft evening.  I have taken my inspiration from all the wonderful designs on the internet. I really like the background to the angry bird card which is made using a sponge covered in blue ink and a little shimmer paint and sponged around a "cloud" which I have punched from the cupcake builder punch. The picture doesn't do it justice but the sky shimmers beautifully in real life.  Don't forget if any one wants to order Stampin Up products then I am rebating my commission to the NSAAA for any orders received between now and Thursday morning.  Hope you're all enjoying the wonderful weather on this bank holiday.
