More Tea for Two ..and some cakes as well   Last Friday I was priviledged to host my Tea for Two class and around the table we had a set of very talented and crafty women. The class included Stampin' UPs designer series paper, Tea for Two and a selection of cardstock and ribbon and instructions for making several cards and a Tea Caddy. However everyone always likes to put their own twist on things and here is a picture of a georgeous pen pot created by the lovely Tracyann. It's for her daughters room and I hope it takes pride of place. It really shows how versatile the tea for two designer paper is as the look is completely different to my prototype.   We also had yummy cupcakes made by Rebecca from Dolly Train cakes .... well when I say we, I really mean everyone else - I'm on a diet and showed remarkable resilence in saying No. I hope the scales reward me.  Here's a couple of pictures to whet your appetities.   Happy crafting everyo...

Happy Valentine's Day       Here's a CASE I have made from the spring/summer mini catalogue. I've loved using the Hearts a Flutter framelits and stamps and they will be ideal for lots of occasions as well as Valentine's Day.   Despite all my card making we're not very good at actually observing special dates ourselves. I may however give this one to Mike - it might make him feel a tad guilty for not getting me anything. In fact we are quite shocking at remembering our wedding  anniversary - it's usually while we are on summer holiday so you're not really keeping a note of the date. Perhaps this year will be different as it's 20 years - I was hoing to re-do our honeymoon which was to West Coast America but it's a bit pricey with the children so perhaps it can wait until 25 years when they are older and won't want to come with us.   My evening isn't going to be very romantic either as it's a case of the usual Mu...

Here are the photos of my samples.

All materials are from Stampin' UP and include -Stamp set - Easy events, colours whisper white, pretty in pink and primrose petals, modern label punch and word window punch.

CandleLight Christmas   I've been saving up my Candlelight Christmas papers as they are so lovely - in particular this flocked acetate - and almost too good to use. However they are no good in the box so here is the card I've made for my Mum and Dad which also uses early expresso tuille,an antique brad, greetings of the season stamp set and apothecary accents framelits.   One of the huge advantages of Stampin Up products is the colour co-ordination and this card showcases that perfectly with just 3 colours - real red, very vanilla and early expresso.   I've been pretty busy this week making lots of things. Last Friday I went to my first ever WI meeting. It was great and we made bath bombs so I came home and made lots more plus pretty boxes to put them in. I do have a tendancy to get obsessed by making different things and buying all the supplies necessry for a new craft so I am trying very hard to restrain myself from getting every ess...

Happy Hour Gift Tags             This evening my husband announces "oh I need a secret Santa present for tomorrow " and " have you any spare cards for my team" plus " I thought I'd give me team wine - but I don't like bottle bags - can you make anything? So we picked up the secret santa and wine while doing the weekly shop and I have just made these wine bottle tags pretty quickly. They were very easy and you get 3 of the bases from 1 sheet of A4 card. I've used my happy hour stamp set, Be of Good Cheer paper and punches, framelits. So perhaps after all my endeavours I deserve a glass of something sparkly myself. (I got the broad idea from a post on pinterest from a US demo called Susan Horn.)
